A feather in one’s cap

I have been nominated for 2 awards by my 2 wonderful and brilliant fellows from this space in the beginning this new month of an innovative year of hopes and dreams which has to come through! Well, it was all because of my present busy schedules these days and some other personal issues, I was unable to look at its publication and hence I do apologize both of them for the delay in updating this award nomination post.

The award which I received at first was “Leiebster  Blog Award” from Soumya Dheedhi and Sofia, who are two among my favorite writers in this space. Soumya Dheedhi always do magic with the random poetry stuffs which expresses her well profound and mirthful contents. She can easily play with the normative words of expressions via her posts that strike every reader’s mind by the delicate opening of her thought provoking gleams. Now, a brief description about Sofia would be a bit hard job for me to share about I guess. She is SIMPLY ‘AWESOME’ in all respects as a writer who is especially concentrated in ‘ROMANTIC’ supremacy. I came to know about her ONLY by the end of ‘2012’ or birth of ‘2013’ it seems. What makes her PERFECT as a writer is the variety of contents she used to share for her readers itself. As a reader whenever I see her update in my mail account, there exists some keen curiosity in me for knowing about the contents she has added during this time! If you’re searching for kinda dandy articles, I strongly suggest Sofia’s world for it.

As per the rules provided for receiving of this award, I must have to answer some interesting queries attached to it.

1. What makes you happiest?

Whenever I used to think about my days with my dear and near ones.

2. Do you love the Ocean or the Mountains more?

I do love Mountains for a better refreshment cause of its silent atmosphere.

3. What has been your favorite moment of 2012?

With my sister during Onam vacation.

4. What is your favorite quote and why?

Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.
John F. Kennedy

A thought provoking quote which serves +ve hope in life!

5. Do you like yourself?

101%! 😉

6. Do you stay up till the Stroke of Midnight on New Years Eve?

Of course!

7. Something you wish you get it done ASAP?

The short-film project which I’m doing now.

8. What was your favorite class while still in school?

Social studies.

9. What musical instrument have you tried to learn to play?

10. Anything you wish you had learned earlier?

The skill of MIMICRY!

11. Do you like to do crafts or draw or even paint?

“The Beautiful Blogger Award” was the 2nd one for which I have been nominated from Sofia again. I’m so much obliged to receive this honor too from you, wise lady. As per the rules, I have to state 7 random facts about me and you could check it out here in my Audible Facts page. The nominees for which I’m going to give this award are:

Thank you so much, Soumya Dheedhi and Sofia for passing me these glittering nomination tag! I’m so much obliged to receive it from both of you. Congratulations to all who got nominated as well. Have a great time ahead for all of you, WP blooms. God bless. Cheers.\m/ 🙂

Blog of the Year 2012!

I have been nominated for ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award by one among the versatile writers in my WP blooms list. Thank you so much for reminding me during the selection procedures and nominating for this honor, Kim.  I’m so much glad to receive this interesting nomination from ya. Those who haven’t know this lady can check out her blog here. Wide variety of indulging poetries and genial stories are waiting for you over there. Have a nice read through her posts, folks.

As we all are going to float up into an innovative year by the end of very next month, this award can be considered as a notable one with this year’s (2012’s) specific tag I guess.

The ‘rules’ for this award are simple:

1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award

2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.

3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/   and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)

4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them

5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience

6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…

Yes – that’s right – there are stars to collect!

Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once – this award is different!

When you begin you will receive the ‘1 star’ award – and every time you are given the award by another blog – you can add another star!

There are total of 6 stars to collect.

Which means that you can check out your favorite blogs – and even if they have already been given the award by someone else – you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!

For more information, check out the FAQ on The Thought Palette.

Now, here comes the most difficult pursuit while receiving the award nominations which always stuck with me in this space. Better if I say, “for all of us”. Nominating few among the 300’s of my pals, who all are good in one or other part of their writing task on my blog contacts list would be a rough cum half heartened job ya know? Anyway, as per the rules mentioned above, I must have to nominate a few for this honor. This domain always serves me ecstatic pleasure and encouragements via likes and comments for my little posts over here. Hence I specially dedicate this tag for all of my fellow followers in WP sphere. Thank you so much for your sincere supports and cares for an aspiring blogger like me. The Tagging Game

OMG! I have realized an absolute natural fact by the end of last day that, “TIME is the fastest and akin ‘TRUTH’ on this world”. I was totally OUT from this cyber stream of writing for a long while, which was all because of my INTERNALS going throughout a WEEK. It doesn’t mean that I was totally focusing on my studies or 180 degree mouth open with the notes and syllabus included for the exam. It was my parents, who were responsible for my absence on this delightful writing community these days. But I had a great time and read through Martha Grimes’s novel, “The Stargazey”, which serves me some sort of pleasure than reading all those BORING Engineering lectures during these exam scheduled days. I heartily tagged it as an interesting mystery and a page-turner, which pays some creative senses on my brain. LOL. 😀 Anyway, I’m so much glad to come back on this highly ecstatic world with much eagerness to read all the posts that I had received as follow-up posts, which are avail on my mail box. Will definitely have a deep look through all those posts ASAP I can! Anyway for today, I’m going to play a nice tagging game in front of ya all. Hope you all will enjoy reading it.

It was by the end of last week, I had been tagged on this specific game by a young Pakistani beauty, Sarin. This one is really a cogitation included game and I felt it as a novelty and thought-provoking strip. Thank you so much for adding me to this pretty interesting game and I’m so sorry for the delay in updating this post, dear. Hope you would understand me well from all those specified reasons mentioned above. 😀 😀

Here are some of the rules you need to apply :

  • Each person must post 11 things about themselves
  • They must answer the questions the tagger has set for them
  • They must create 11 more questions to ask bloggers they have decided to tag.
  • They must then choose 11 bloggers and tag them in their post.
  • These lucky bloggers must then be told.
  • There are no tag backs
  • You are under no obligation to play along, but it is something your fellow bloggers would enjoy and you would too.

You can check out the 11 things about me here: Audible facts of mine

These were the queries from Sarin for which I have to answer:

Q1) If you were on a deserted island, which 5 people would you like to take with you from 5 different professions?
Ans. Haha! This would be a weird query from ya I guess. 😛 Anyway, since this is a game, I must have to answer for all the queries that states above. Anyway, it’s for sure that my Dad (Mechanic), Mom (Home maker), Sissaji (BSc Nursing Student), my closest cousin bro( who is a 12th grade scholar) and Remya( my best friend) will be there with me for sure. We would definitely enjoy the time over there with the ecstasy at its PEAK, since all the above mentioned personalities are all-rounders in most of the fields I guess. LOL. 😀

Q2) Ever stepped on poop? Human/Animal? Any poop?
Ans. Yeah, sure! I had stepped on both human as well as animal poop. 😀

Q3) Annoying younger siblings OR bossy elder ones? Choose one, even if you don’t have any.
Ans. Bossy elder ones! 😀

Q4) Did you ever puke on anybody?
Ans. Sorry! I didn’t. 😀

Q5) If there is a blogging buddy in your nearby city, would you go visit him/her?
Ans. Yeah, of course! I had met one of them on last month. 🙂

Q6) Why did you start blogging?
Ans. Seems this would the most prominent query among this list! I have started blogging just to express my little own thoughts and ideas. But this world has been serving me a number of friends around this revolving planet and I’m glad for being in touch with them through the Social Medias and all.\m/ 🙂

Q7) Ever begged for money while travelling?
Ans. Not yet! I don’t whether something like that may happen in the near future. 😉

Q8) One thing you would like to change about yourself?
Ans. I would like to change my ATTITUDE towards the professional Engineering lectures, when I’m in the class. 😀

Q9) One thing you find very annoying in this blogging community/world?
Ans. The highly crooked HACKERS, who are always VILLAINS in cyber community itself. 😦

Q10) One place you’d never like to visit again?
Ans. A place named Nellore in India, where my elder sister is studying. I hate the way of living, culture and traditions they own in comparing with my Gods own country.

Q11) One you regret you had the chance to do but never did?
Ans. I had a chance to go for degree rather than doing this current Engineering course. It was all because of my inability to speak out with much courage in front of my parents, since they are willing to have an Engineer at home in the near future. LOL. 😀

Now here are my nominees for this game:

Now here are my queries for you guys:

1) What will be your response, if someone in front of you is committing a serious crime at a mid-night?

2) If you have a Parrot at home, what will be his/her name?

3) Which is the most worst situation you have ever faced?

4) If someone kicks at you rapidly for no REASON, what will be your response?

5) Have you ever felt any disgrace in doing something?

6) If a strange boy/gal approach’s you and tell that he/she loves you, what will be your response?

7) If I give you 1000 US$, what will be the first thing you may do with that cash?

8) Dad or Mom or Siblings? Who is most important for you?

9) If you will get a strange chance to see the owner of this little blog (myself) at somewhere around this world, will you feel free to talk with me?

PS- I know that this would be a strange query for you. But still, since I’m a STRANGER for you (knows me via this writing world only), will you be able to have talk with me? 😛 😀

10) Will a BEST FRIEND status turns to a RELATIONSHIP?

11) What’s your opinion about a gal/boy, who isn’t so academically active?

PS- Asking this query for someone I truly cares. 🙂

Hope the nominees would enjoy playing it and once again my sincere gratitude to Serin for the nomination. Have a good time ahead to you all. God bless. Cheers. \m/ 🙂

Creative Chaos Award!

First of all, my warm regards to, Celestine, for this much delay in the updation of this awesome post. Thanks a lot Celestine( http://readinpleasure.wordpress.com/) for the nomination of “CREATIVE CHAOS AWARD”. 🙂 She is such an amazing and glittering poetry writer in my family, who has a wide range of views about various books and literature as well. You must visit her wonderful blog. I’m sure that, you people would really enjoy reading her posts. 🙂 🙂

Rules for accepting this Award:

1) Three weird things I do:

  • I always used have regular night talks with my friends, even it is strictly restricted at home by my parents though. LOL. 😀
  • I’m a weekend late night bunker from home and have chats with my younger cousin bro through a lonely ground nearby. 😛
  • I likes to play and mingle with small kids rather than boys or girls of my age. 🙂

2. You must tell why you look at the “glass half full” or “Half empty”

Haha! This would be a weird query for me to answer. I’ll look at “glass half empty”, since it’ll serve me a hope for the retraction targeting this emptiness in the near future.

3. You find yourself in a desolate place when your car breaks down. You have no cell phone service, no Wal-Mart, and only a candy bar for food. It is 150 miles to the closest town. What color are your underpants and why?

It’s for sure that, I’ll try my level best to repair it by my self. If that didn’t works, I would walk towards the Candy Bar and make a query regarding the availability of work shop in that place. Underpants?? No further queries please! LOL. 😀 😛

4. Nominate 5 people who recently followed your blog

Hearty congratulations to all the nominated blooms of mine. Once again thanks a lot, Celestine, for handling over this award to me. I’m always glad enough to follow your outstanding world. 🙂 🙂
