Who are they?

When they simply laugh, looking at that starving old lady,

Her unhappy actions and appearance,

I’m afraid how deeply do they know about her!

Sitting on one side of the normal footpath,

Least bothered about the person passes by,

Begging hardly to others on that sunny noon,

Either for one day’s food or money,

Does it mean a lot to her life?

Perhaps, it’s a kind of timely escape from her regular concerns.

She may have a family like everyone,

Number of members relay up on her,

A boy or girl who needs care and love from a mom,

And eagerly waiting for their beloved lady to reach back home safely!

  1. Hey Rahul,

So incredibly sad, yet it’s a reality for many people. Some people say never to give to beggars. I say we should always help the less fortunate. It always hurts me when I see them begging. We don’t realise how fortunate we are in life and sometimes…too many times, take it for granted. This was a very powerful post. Hugs to you, my friend. Paula xxxx

    • Yeah Paula! Sometimes, people even raise questions against this group and their way of life too. Does it make any sense to ya? Have you ever think about why these people are still begging towards others rather than taking care of themselves by doing any jobs?

    • Thank you so much for stopping by and gave me your valuable feedback for the post, Harsha! I’m happy that you liked it. Have a great time ahead. God bless. 🙂 🙂

    • Thank you so much for stopping by my little writing space and leave your heartfelt feedback for the post, Sayantiniji! Well, a typical query to ya regarding the topic. Have you ever spend time with such people? Whenever you see these groups somewhere, what all are the remarkable thoughts strike on your mind? 🙂

    • Well, the whole world is still seeking for a revolution that can bring some change to this situation! Hopefully, our future generations and time will definitely prove it. 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by and leave your valuable feedback. Have a good time there. God bless. 🙂

  2. Rahul, a very thoughtful post. She might also be there because she is tired of the world that is no where close to reality. Puppets we really are, who refuse to accept this simple fact that this is just a transition, before we are assigned the next role.

I would be glad to have your comments on my Insights!
